GCVAA

Our membership is open to visual artists including, but not limited to painters, sculptors, and photographers.  Anyone, artist or not,  who is interested in our goals and mission below may become a member.

2019 GCVAA 18th National Exhibition Awards Reception: Mayor Ricky Jackson, and President, Royce Harris presented Ros Edin, Juror,  with the "Key to the City of Trenton, Tennessee, April 28, 2019 at The Teapot Museum.
Over 30 Quilt Squares have been created and placed throughout Gibson County as part of the Tennessee Quilt Trail.
We are known for our outstanding workshops and jurors featuring world class watercolorists.

Welcome

The Gibson County Visual Art Association was founded in Trenton, Tennessee in 1999.  Our goal is to assist and encourage both amateur and professional artists under the auspices of the Tennessee Arts Commission.  The association holds regular meetings of its members to exchange ideas and plan its activities which includes workshops, seminars, art exhibits, and classes for students of all ages and skill levels. 

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote, support, and develop visual art in our area and to provide educational opportunities for all our citizens regardless of age, religion, sex, race, disability or level of expertise.

The Tennessee Arts Commission makes possible through a matching grant our Annual National   Juried Exhibition and Workshop by a nationally acclaimed juror.
